More and more Americans are starting to realize that with new technology comes an invasive eye into everything about their lives. But have we reached the point that we must now PAY our cell phone services, our smartphone providers, search engines, Internet providers, etc., etc., so that they will NOT sell us out? Do we really have to give up all privacy in order to use technology? It seems so. It also seems to me this is reversed. AT&T and other providers charge us to use their service. If they can then turn around and make money by selling our browsing and search information, they should be paying US! To fight back, check out this article by USAToday for information on how to change your settings for iPhone and Android smartphones to provide a little protection from snooping eyes.
